I put plastic barans between floorboards and arranged in order for making a rural landscape. The group exhibition at Stadtgalerie Kiel museum in Germany, I placed them for visitors to see the shape of a Chinese character: “田”, it means rice field, when they entirely look down my work. I was working for three days in advance of the opening day to plant barans, and the process involved extra part-time staffs and artists, who held their own exhibitions there, it was earnestly rice-planting days. “Coffee Break 009 ” rice field, Weekly “Shukan Kinyobi” 10th March 2006 スーパーなどで売られているプラスチック製のバランを床板の隙間に挟んで並べ、田園風景に見立てた作品。キール市美術館（ドイツ）で行われたグループ展では、上から見下ろすと畦の部分が「田」という文字を描くようにバランを配置。オープニングまでの３日間は、臨時アルバイト、および他の展示のアーチストをも巻き込み、ただひたすら田植え作業の毎日であった。 (週刊金曜日2006年3月10日号より　連載「珈琲破壊」009)
